MEET THE TEAM
Kelsey Langley
Owner/Instructor
I have been the owner and instructor of GC Driving Academy for 5 years. Teaching teens how to drive gives me the exciting opportunity of witnessing this important “rite of passage” in their young lives. I am grateful to contribute and be a part of this special occasion.
I am a native Idahoan and the mother and stepmother of 6 energetic boys who keep my life fun and chaotic at the same time! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy riding our horses, spending time with family and traveling any chance I get.
Randy Powell
Instructor
Randy spent 36 years as an Earth Science/Idaho Geology Teacher for the Middleton School District. In 1985 Randy became a Certified Driving Instructor. Randy became the Director of the Middleton High School Driver Education Program in 1987 where he remained until retiring from the position in 2021. Randy has been married to his beautiful wife Cindee for 40 years. He has raised two incredible young adults, Allison and Sam. Allison is a Certified Occupational Therapist and Sam is a Field Manager. We are so excited to add the wealth of knowledge and experience that Randy provides. He will be a valuable member to our team and thankful for his continued devotion to teaching the youth in our community.
Steve Vickers

My name is Steven Vickers. I was raised and attended school in Parma, Idaho. I am the oldest of 11 children. After graduating in 1975 I worked for a year and then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in North Carolina. After my mission I attended Ricks College and got my associates. I am married to a beautiful young lady, Elaine. Together we raised 9 children and have 15 grandchildren. We currently live in Nampa.
I loved sports growing up and was a 4 time letterman in Baseball and Wrestling for Parma High School. I also played a lot of softball on a team with my dad and brothers after High School.
I am currently the owner of Vickers Entertainment, LLC. We do bubble ball and arrow tag parties. Nothing like knocking your friends around or shooting them with arrows.
Because my business is somewhat seasonal I was looking for something to keep me busy during my slow months. I have been subbing for many years but decided I needed a change. I saw an ad for a driving instructor and thought it would be a great fit. I am really excited to be working for GC Driving Academy. Since much of my life has been spent coaching and teaching I think this will be a great opportunity to continue on a similar path as a driving instructor (coach). I look forward to working with and learning from Kelsey and Randy and helping your student's accomplish their goal of obtaining their drivers license.
